Tone Finder help

Tone Finder listens to your voice and shows live pitch feedback on your device. No account is required.

Getting started

Tap Start Listening on the welcome screen.

Allow microphone access when iOS prompts you.

Sing a sustained note and watch the detected note, cents, and meter update.

If you denied access, open Settings → Tone Finder → Microphone and enable it, then return to the app.

The microphone stops when you leave the tuner or background the app.

Select a note chip on the tuner to practice against a specific target.

Tap Clear to return to free detection.

Open Settings from the tuner and choose an A4 reference (432, 440, 442, or 444 Hz).

Tone Finder requires a physical iPhone build with native audio support.

Expo Go is not supported for live pitch detection.
