Microphone audio is processed on your device for live pitch feedback.

No account is required in the current version.

We do not upload your voice to our servers in v1.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

In the current version of Tone Finder, we do not collect personal information through the app. Audio is analyzed locally on your iPhone for real time note feedback.

Local storage on your device

The app may store preferences on your device, including:

A4 tuning reference (for example 440 Hz).

Last selected target note for practice mode.

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Microphone access

Tone Finder requests microphone permission only when you use the live tuner. Audio is used for real time pitch analysis and is not sent to our servers in v1. The microphone stops when you leave the tuner screen or background the app.

You can revoke microphone access anytime in iOS Settings → Tone Finder → Microphone.

Third party services

The current version does not include advertising, analytics, or cloud audio processing. If we add optional services (for example crash reporting), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before release.

Children

Tone Finder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

Tone Finder is operated by Theramate limited. If you use the app outside your home country, your on device data remains on your device under this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
